Summary

I am a teacher at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería - UNI, Lima – Peru. I teach undergraduate courses on Probability Calculus, Convex Analysis and Finite Elements. In addition, I am a professor at the Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Environmental Engineering, UNI. I did my doctoral thesis in Mathematics at the Instituto de Matemáticas y Ciencia Afines - IMCA, under the supervision of Professor Eladio Ocaña and several stays at Centro de Investigación e Ingeniería Matemática - CI2MA, under the supervision of Professor Rommel Bustinza. I did my Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, Paris, France. I also took some courses at the Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie and did a dissertation at the Center d'enseignement et de Recherche en Mathématiques et Calcul Scientifique – CERMICS , under the supervision of Professor Alexandre Ern.

My interests are numerical methods for differential equations applied to engineering problems, the study of their existence and uniqueness in a variational sense. Also, I am interested in statistical analysis and numerical methods for optimization. Currently, I develop my research in Hybrid High Order methods – HHO.
